Strengthening partnerships for holistic psychosocial care and community reintegration. The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office Caraga formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Gestalt Neuropsychological and Psychological Center on May 25, 2026, at the DSWD Caraga Regional Office. This collaboration aims to reinforce the implementation of initiatives under the Pag-abot Program and expand access to professional psychological and psychosocial support services within the Caraga Region. The partnership seeks to provide beneficiaries with a safe, structured, and evidence-based environment for mental health interventions, addressing psychological concerns through responsive and ethical service delivery. Through this joint effort, both institutions aim to strengthen the quality and accessibility of psychosocial programs that promote recovery, resilience, and overall well-being among program beneficiaries. This agreement further reflects DSWD Caraga’s continuing commitment to delivering comprehensive social welfare services by integrating mental health and psychosocial support alongside social and material assistance for individuals and families in vulnerable situations. The Pag-abot Program, one of the flagship initiatives of DSWD under the leadership of Secretary Rex Gatchalian, is designed to assist street-dwelling individuals and families in transitioning away from homelessness through sustainable interventions, social protection services, and opportunities for safer and more stable living conditions.
